Sad Day...
I have been meaning to write about this but keep forgetting. Last week I had my first follower leave. Is my blogging slacking? Am I not as interesting as last month? I know this is silly to take personally, heck, I don't even know some of you, but I did. I must be getting old and not cool anymore. Was I even cool to begin with? Oh well...I blog because I enjoy it not for the followers! Ha- who am I kidding? I love my followers! Thanks for the ones who have stayed!
A Victory for Carolina!
So yesterday we ventured out hoping the Gamecocks could pull it together and beat Clemson. Carolina played wonderfully but I don't think Clemson even showed up! I was so excited to be at that game especially since it was only the third time Carolina beat Clemson at Williams Brice Stadium. I bundled up when we arrived a eight this morning but started shedding layers by lunch.
I forgot to take my camera- I know...what was I thinking?
Final score: 34 to 17! Go COCKS!
After the game we went our friend Jay's house to celebrate his 30th birthday!
Me, Mama Sharon, and Matt
The birthday boy's wonderful fried turkey! I think I ate all the skin off of it! Yum!
The furbaby had way too much excitement for one day!
It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!
The husband and I went and got our Christmas tree and started decorating the house. We started to decorate the front of the house but the pre-lit garland didn't work so when we finish the front I'll show you. I love this time of years so much! We had Christmas music playing, candles lit and decorated away. We are almost finished...
The husband doesn't get excited about much but he enjoyed this...
Our Gamecock Christmas tree center piece!
Can't you tell I hand painted this? Our first Christmas in our house!
Love these ornament candle holders!
An ornament given to me by a sweet student! Love it!!
I collect Towle ornaments. My mother started giving them to me when I was born. I just love how simple yet pretty they are.
Hope y'all have a great weekend!

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! P.S. I talked to my brother for the first time while at basic for the Air Force. Thanks for all of your prayers. He will be home in two weeks!
Happy Thanksgiving!
I am thankful for so many things:
1. My family. Even though my parents are divorced we all get along so well!
2. My husband. I am so glad I met you and so proud to call you mine. You treat me like a princess and you always support me.
3. The furbaby. He loves me unconditionally. I seriously love him more than I can explain.
4. My job. I love teaching school. I am proud to have great students, wonderful parents, and a terrific school to teach at.
5. In-laws. I am so blessed to have such sweet in-laws. It could always be worse.
6. Co-workers. They make me laugh daily and I appreciate them more than they know.
7. My grandparents. My Othermama means more to me than anything. She has always been there for and I truly appreciate her and Papa.
8. Internet. I would be so bored with out.
9. My house. I can't wait to get out of this one into a bigger one but it has been perfect for the husband and I's starter home.
10. Polka dots. Life would be so gloomy with out them.
11. Invisalign. I am so glad I was given the chance to wear braces 'again' since I never wore my retainer the first time.
12. The dishwasher. I would dread do dishes daily with out one.
13. The vacuum. I love seeing the lines on the floor from the vacuum. I can feel so much better in one vacuum.
14. My love of finding good sales. My husband would kill me if I shopped as much as I did with really expensive taste.
15. Friends. I have some great friends. I am so glad we have all stayed in touch and get together every so often. They mean a lot to me.
16. Last, the blog world. It has become my outlet and escape from the busy world. I am so blessed that 117 people read this, strangely-enough. I love reading your blogs and look forward to them daily!
Celebrate Good Times, Come On!
Last night we celebrated the husband's 28th birthday a day late! Yes, he is officially in his late twenties now! Ha! We headed to Carolina Ale House with my family and his family. I slacked on the pictures but snapped a few.

Are You For Real?
So today I had to exchange some pants for the husband and walked past a place called Conway's-yes it is a little sketch looking but I have no shame. I don't mind walking in and being the minority. I can hold my own- ha! If I find a good deal on something cute, I am all in! So I walked in and found some really cute shirts. I love a comfy cotton tee, especially if it is slightly dressy. Well I grabbed my goodies and headed for the dressing room. I walked around that whole darn place looking for it. I finally asked some guy who told me there was no dressing room. The first thing out of my mouth: Are you for real? What store that sells clothes has no dressing room? Do they think one size fits all? Are they scared I am going to steal it? Whatever-that's ridiculous! I almost walked about because I always have to try things on. Well, I liked the shirt so much I bought it in 3 colors, with out even trying it on. They were $5.00. I figured I could return them if they didn't work. Maybe no returns either...? Luckily they fit! I love them.
I think I could wear ruffles daily. What do you think. P.S. The ruffles go all the way around. I am so glad they don't stop half way!! Yay for my great find!
Happy Birthday!
Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday to the husband,
Happy birthday to you!
I am so proud of how far you have come in 28 years. You are everything I never knew I wanted! Does that make any sense? Any-whoo, I am proud to call you my husband and I hope that this next year is wonderful!
I love you!
Love ya, mean it!
