So today I went for my final Invisalign appointment. I know all the staff and are on a first name basis. (yes, I am there too often.) Anywhoo- while I was at the dentist the dentist assistant/hygienist lady came and got me from the waiting room and the first thing she said was... "OMG. What did you do to you hair? You looked so much better as a blonde. It is really hard to look at you. You need to go back blonde." I was speechless... If you don't have anything nice to say-then don't say it!
Oh my goodness! Some people are just so rude and insensitive. She probably has to put other people down so she feels better about herself! Ugh! You are too gorgeous to listen to people like that!
ReplyDeleteShe really said that to you?! How rude!!!
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding? People are insane!
ReplyDeleteThat's unbelievable! I think I would have started crying!
ReplyDeleteYou look Fabulous!! I'm thinking she might not know what good looks like! HA! I just could not resist!
Oh goodness, that is horrible! I think your new hair looks wonderful!
ReplyDeletefoot in mouth! why would someone say something like that? it looks great!
ReplyDeleteThe saddest part about that is that she didn't even realize she said something wrong. Some people have no clue. I like our hair brunette and I liked it blonde. It looks good both ways.
ReplyDeleteW.O.W. She has some nerve. would have simply stated, "Well, I was really excited because this is my last appointment and after the great welcome I just received from you, my excitement just rose more to be done!"
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Some people DO NOT know when to shut up!! Common decency?? We learn that kindergarten, people! Ok, I'm gonna get on a soap box so I'm leaving. But I think you're an absolute doll!! xoxo :)
ReplyDeleteeeeww how rude! i think your hair is so cute dark AND blonde!!
ReplyDeleteUgh!! Did you go Bon Qui Qui on her?!?! RUDE!!!
ReplyDeleteomg
ReplyDeleteSometimes people just don't get it! I think your hair looks great!
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe that! Hearing that from a kid at school would one thing, but a grown adult... really???
ReplyDeleteWow.... for some reason that doesn't surprise me coming out of an assistants mouth! The T.P assistant that I work with would totally say something like that!
ReplyDeleteShe is always having diahrea of the mouth.. and telling patients WAYYYY... to much info about her personal life!
I think you hair looks great! =)
OMG I cannot believe she said that! HOW RUDE! I can't believe a hygienist would say that to a patient!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe someone would say that to you! That is so rude! I love your hair!
ReplyDeleteWow, how rude! Some people just don't have an edit button when they say things. I like your new hair!
ReplyDeleteShe must have left her filter at home! I can't believe she would say something like that to a long-time patient! Just know that not everyone is born with class-and you're beautiful, brunette or blonde!
ReplyDeleteDon't listen to her! I love your hair dark!!
ReplyDeletePeople just DON'T THINK anymore. If you weren't such a nice person, there are plenty of things you could have said to her.
ReplyDeleteI think you look great!
That is so RUDE! I think your new 'do is cute. Tell her she looked better with her mouth shut!!
ReplyDeleteYou have got to be kidding?!?! WHO in the world does that!! Apparently her mother never taught her that famous saying....my sister and I heard it ALL of the time..."If you can't say anything nice...."....haha
ReplyDeleteI think that you look GREAT with both shades...but it is winter....so hair is SUPPOSED to be darker now. She must have missed the memo!
WOW! Who says stuff like that??? Don't listen to her!
ReplyDeleteHoly crap! I can't believe someone would say that!
ReplyDeleteThat is extremely rude!!! I can't believe someone would say such a thing. I am sure you look fab!
