Rain, Rain, Go Away!

We had so much rain this week- This is what my back yard looked like. The creek behind our house was now right below the back porch!

The furbaby has never been scared of thunderstorms but lately he has become a big wuss! What's his deal?? He shakes uncontrollably, pants like a mad man, tries to hide under your legs, and won't leave your side. What to do, what to do? Can dogs be on Prozac? He needs some kind of help! Any advice... what should we do?

Blast From the Past for the Baby!

When I was younger my dad had my brother and I a little car similar to this one...

We loved it. While my dad was at a motorcycle show he stumbled up on one that looked identical to the one we had growing up, so of course he had to buy it!!

I think this child is going to be spoiled...what do you think?

This is the exciting news we found out today! I am so excited for the Craven family!

8 Weeks!

How far along? 8 Weeks

Baby's size? The size of a kidney bean.

Weight Gain? Nothing at this point.

Maternity clothes? Not yet. I am doing the rubber band trick around my button holes to make it more comfortable.

Stretch marks? None, hopefully it stays that way!

Sleep? I can't get enough of it. I am sleeping like a baby!

Foods I am loving? All of it. The more the merrier.

Foods I am hating? I am not hating anything yet. It all looks wonderful. I used to eat loads of chocolate but I haven't been wanting it much.

Best moment this week? Still being pregnant!

Movement? No movement yet.

Symptoms? Cramping, nausea, vomiting, and "baby brain". I am just not thinking clearly!

Gender? I think it's a boy.

What I miss? Alcohol!

What I'm looking forward to? Hearing the heartbeat.

Weekly Wisdom: Preggo Pops! Great for my nausea and to take my prenatals at night instead of in the morning.

Milestones: Making it another week.

Emotions: I have been very sensitive.

It is now to the point that I am hiding out in my house! It is too hot to do ANYTHING! The temperature today was 102 and the humidity was probably 100! Oh, how I am ready for fall! Anyone else?

Breaking Out the Maternity Jeans...

Not really... but while I was out shopping with Alison today, we stopped in there and they had jeans on sale so I went ahead and broke down and bought me one pair. I am really hoping to not need many maternity items. A good pair of jeans, maybe some black and khaki pants, and that's it. The majority of my wardrobe consists of dresses so hopefully I can just stretch them until the end!

I Was Protecting Y'all...

Earlier this week I did a "ride along" with the husband's training officer with the Sheriff's Department. I had a BLAST! Anyone is able to do it, just ask!

I got a little scared when a 16 year old robbed a 9 year old at gun point for his bike. The 16 year was arrested but his brother wasn't letting that happened. The brother tried to let the 16 year old out of the car and then got arrested himself. This is how I felt when the brother was in the back seat while I was in the front seat...

I had so much fun. Who knew going 100 miles an hour through traffic would have been so much fun? This is what I saw most of the night...

This little machine was a wonder! It did most of our decorations in an hour tops! If you remember, my mom and I are throwing the bestie a shower and it is zebra and garnet themed... So here it is so far...

To Make or Not to Make...

Question: What does your bed look like when you leave in the morning?

The husband and I make ours daily. Sometimes I might accidentally forget to make it but the husband never does. If I leave it unmade, he will make it up and then get into bed.

Well, I am not paying $150.00 for them. So I went looking for some "knock offs" and came across these...

Supposedly they are "knock offs" and they only cost $60... much better.

Well, I think it is too good to be true. A little sketchy if you ask me. The website is called IOfferShoes and I was doing some research on their return policy and what not... So why is it sketch...

1. You can only pay through Western Union, a money gram, or a wire transfer

2. They do not accept pay pal because their account is frozen

3. *Just found where you can pay with a card

4. There address is Nan Street 3,Fei E Xi Road,BaiYun District,GuangZhou City,China

5. There are a lot of typos on the webpage

So what do you think? Anyone heard of this? Do you think it is a scam?

I Am Shocked!

After the boiled peanut post... check it out here if you missed it. I know things are different in the South than they are EVERYWHERE else. I could not believe some of you live in the south and had never tried them or even heard of them... So... for you people who don't get the pleasure of living in the South... these are some great reasons I LOVE living here!
