Spruce It Up!

This year the husband and I decided to try and spruce our Christmas tree up... really... it was the husband's idea. I think he got the idea from the Christmas tree in the waiting room at the OBGYN. Anywhoo... we are going to try and take this tree (pic from last year)...
to this...
Wish me luck... went out and purchased everything I will need for our new red and silver themed Christmas tree.

Happy happy Birthday!

Happy 29th birthday to the husband!!
Love ya, mean it!

Loving the Glider!

The husband was adamant that we get a glider for Grayson's room. We registered for one and just got. I am so glad we did because that chair is so comfy!
I just love the way it looks in her room too! Thanks Aunt Mary!

We're Back!

The husband, furbaby, and I spent a relaxing weekend in Saluda, NC. I am so fortunate we have a second home in the family there. It was nice to get a way and sleep in... we did a little shopping, golf carting, and resting!
We headed here for some shopping...
Look how cute...
A Gamecock doll in NC... I also bought Grayson her first hat... isn't it fabulous!
We went up there to take maternity/Christmas card pictures. As soon as I get them back I will share! Hope you had a great weekend!

Watch Your Step...

I so almost bit the dust...literally while here...
After putting out all of their holiday decorations I didn't notice how slippery the floors were from all the glitter. Luckily I caught myself...but it could have been bad! Just a warning... especially to all you pregnant people!

Maternity Skinny Jeans, Say What??

I/mom bought the most fabulous pair of maternity skinny jeans. Too be honest I have never worn skinny jeans with out my knee high boots before I was pregnant, but have ventured out. I am loving them. If you see me wearing them everyday... don't judge!
I got them from Old Navy and love them. The belly is a thick elastic and holds up all day without me having to wear the Be Band too!

What's Been Going On?

1. Wonderful dinner with some girls tonight.

2. A cough I can't get rid of.

3. A two day work week next week!

4. These are now available:
(White chocolate covered oreos)

5. Christmas is in 5 weeks! Yay!

6. I pre-registered to give birth...

7. I have heartburn with a vengance!

8. I take the glucose test in 4 weeks...getting closer.

9. I decided on a diaper bag. (Details to come...)

10. Had to make Grayson another bow holder, too many bows to just have one!

There is your quickie update! I hope you all have a FANTASTIC Friday tomorrow!

Pops' Love!

My dad had this made for Grayson...

He would be Pops and Slick would be his love child aka his dog!

Men... Don't Talk to Pregnant Women...

The men at my school have a horrible track record of talking to me while pregnant. I know you don't mean anything by it, so just don't say anything!

EXHIBIT A:
Janitor A: " I hear you are pregnant."
Me: "Yes I am."
Janitor A: "You were starting to gain weight in May."
Me: "I wasn't pregnant in May."

EXHIBIT B:
Former Parent of Mine: "You are starting to get fat."

EXHIBIT C:
Janitor B: "You are starting to put on some weight."

I think what they all meant to say was, "You look fabulous and oh so skinny!"

My Christmas List... Who is buying?

Jacket from Old Navy

Boots from Old Navy
Necklace with Grayson's name
E. Ria Designs Personalized NGAIRE Sterling Silver Necklace with Pearl
Wreath with our last name
Alabama Crimson Tide Wooden Door Wreath or Wall Decor
Monogrammed pajama bottoms
Just for kicks...Ha...(Not really purchasing this) A monogrammed hospital gown!

Are You Ready?

I am so excited for this...
Will you be watching?

This May Have Happened...

This may or may not have happened... you be the judge... the husband may or may not have come home early from work the other morning around 1:30 am and may or may not have found me like this...
Except I may or may not have been eating rice and steak from Tokyo Grill...
**To my family...this is NOT me...every picture I post doesn't have to be me!**

New Scent...

I, well, my husband more so than me, is a candle freak! He is always wanting to go to Yankee Candle... anywhoo... we stopped by and got this great new Christmas scent...
When you spend $25, you will... hello, this candle is $25... you get a $10 coupon! Fabulous! Just in time for Christmas!!

My Mind is Gone!

Lat week I headed out to Lowe's. While looking around a man came up to me and said, "Ma'am, you left your car door open." *Insert me freaking out!* "Did you shut it," I asked? "No," he replied. I walked back out to my car and yes sir, it was wide open, GPS in place and everything.
When they said you get baby brain while pregnant... oh is it so true! I can't remember anything to save my life! Thank gosh for good samaritans!

I Think I Am That Blog!

Before I was 'knocked up' I would read all these blogs written by mothers and would think, all she does is blog about her child. Okay... well I have become that blog too and I am okay with it. I will try not to bore the non mothers to sleep, but you might not find my blog as interesting anymore. I think it's still funny and I love doing this so if you don't enjoy it anymore...got get 'knocked up' and then come back!!
Oops... I used another something baby!! Let me try this again...
**This blog does not promote "underage" pregnancy!** Ha!!

Nursery Pics...

For those who are too impatient to come see the room in person... Here is what we have so far... I can't wait to get the bedding, the chair, and the window treatments!!

Gearin' Up...

The husband and I got a few things for Grayson today...
I absolutely love them both. They are both so light and easy to fold!! Yay!! I definitely wanted something neutral in case the next one is a boy.

You Can Make It Too...

So I had a lot of request on how to make the items in the post before this one. They are both so simple. The lamp was one I had for Will and I just bought a green shade. I hot glued pink pompoms to the bottom and ordered a vinyl monogram from here and stuck it on. The hair bow holder was just as simple. I bought the wood plaque at A.C. Moore and then painted it white. I hot glued the pompoms and ribbon on there too. I had a second monogram made from Dodi as well and placed it on top. Here is what the hair bow holder looks like today.
Yes, that would be a total of 23 bows. Well, good bows are so expensive. I found this great deal on eBay to buy a "lot" of them. I only payed around $13.00 for all of them, including shipping. I bought mine from here. I ordered the 3.5 inch bows and wish they would have been a little bigger. Ha!! Hope this post helps you all.
