my best friend is having milk cravings -- she is about 6 months along. The funny thing is I was having sympathy cravings or something because I was craving milk all the time too... I literally have 4 types of milk in my fridge right now: organic skim, vanilla soy, chocolate soy, almond milk... yep I am a freak
my sister does too and she's lactose intolerant so it is really weird and it sets well with her too!!!! We are wondering if she'll be able to drink it after the baby is born!
I wouldn't call it a horribly-can't-live-without-it craving, but I loooove, love drinking cold 1% organic milk, warm milk, hot chocolate with milk, plain yogurt and any other kind of yogurt and cottage cheese (the more sour the better). I guess as long as it's pasteurized, I'm ok, right? Prior to being pregnant, I didn't care much for milk. Usually it would expire before I even got half way down the half a gallon! But now it just tastes so good! Doesn't it?
i did too! i drank it morning, noon and night and i couldn't get enough of it. i even was craving it after i gave birth and would often have a glass while doing a mid-night feeding....unfortunately i had to cut cold turkey when we found out DD was severely lactose intolerant (think blood in diapers) and it was passing through my breastmilk and making her insides cramp up....i dream of the day when i can drink a nice, tall, cold glass again!
my sister is about 6 months pregnant and she has been drinking alot of milk too! Like at least three glasses a day and cereal and she is usually a water and juice girl!
We went through sooooo much milk when I was preggo it was not even funny. I liked it at night bc it would help me sleep better and make my heartburn go away! Hope u are feeling well and getting ready for that precious baby girl :)
I am not pregnant (yet!) but T and I go through 2 gallons of milk every week. We love it. We keep skim milk, vanilla almond milk, and soy milk (for me) in our fridge at all times.
Before getting pregnant you couldn't force me to drink a plain glass of milk... now I drink it ALL the time. It's one of the very few things I've craved with my pregnancy. I knew I was going crazy when I actually ordered milk going out to dinner with my husband. Who (over the age of 5) orders milk these days? Ha!

ReplyDeleteI know the feeling. I only drink milk when I'm pregnant! I've heard that your body craves what it needs while pregnant...weird, right?
ReplyDeleteLove the background by the way :)
