The Delivery...

Saturday morning I woke around 5 am with contractions. They lasted every couple minutes for a few hours. I knew it was time. I called the doc and he told me to take Tylenol and lay down...so..maybe it wasn't time. Then the contractions went away... I ended up going to the mall with my mom and sister to shop (or walk this baby out). When we got home I was having more contractions and just didn't feel well. I started crying and my mom and Drake decided we should go to the hospital and just see if I was dialated. I was so against it because I would have been so embarrassed for them to tell me I wasn't in lablor and have to walk back out of the hopsital. The hospital said I was still only 2 cm dialated and to go home. Sad day...I was about to have to take the walk of shame and go home. The nurse left the room for me to get dressed to go home and "POP!" my water broke... The nurse told me I had admitted myself! No more walk of shame!! Ha!! Once admitted, family and friends arrived, epidural was given, and an hour and a half of pushing...Grayson Frances was born!! The first thing I said was, "Is she still a girl??" Could you have imagined?? We are all healthy and home from the hospital. Thank you all so much for your sweet comments!
