Sunday School Read...

I recently ordered this book to read for our Sunday School class. I am so excited to read it. I will let you know if it's good or not. Fingers crossed since it's on the way to my mail box!

Human Planet...

Have you seen this show?
"Human Planet is a majestic portrait of people's incredible ability to survive and thrive in our planet's most extreme environments."

The hubs found this show on the Discovery Channel. I couldn't stop watching it. It is amazing to see how people live in such remote places.
I loved how they worked so hard and came together for the good of the community.

Mobile Phone Dump...

Here are some pictures from my phone I thought I might share...

Meet Mrs. Scarecrow...

She is the newest member of our classroom!

Happy Birthday Othermama!

Happy Birthday to the BEST grandmother EVER!

I love you SO much!!

Romper Redo...

Grayson had a super cute romper but it needed a little something. I added the monogram circle awhile back. When I put it on her it was way too short. So, what else can you do...but add a FABULOUS RUFFLE!! Can't wait to put her in it.

Big Girl Bath Time...

After spaghetti, we definitely needed a bath!

Messy, Messy...

Grayson tried spaghetti (no sauce) and made a huge mess of course!! Even messy she still looked precious!

Baked Potato Soup

I ccoked a baked potato soup last night and it was wondeful. I got this recipe from here.
4 large baking potatoes
2/3 cup butter
2/3 cup flour
6 cups milk
3/4 teaspoon salt
freshly ground pepper to taste
12 slices bacon, crisp-fried and crumbled
1 1/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
Bake potatoes until tender; cool. Scoop out pulp into a small bowl and break up into pea-sized pieces.
Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat; stir in flour. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add the milk gradually. Cook over medium heat until thickened and bubbly, stirring regularly. Season with salt and pepper.
Add the potato pulp, 1/2 cup of the bacon, and 1 cup of the cheese. Cook till heated through.
Stir in sour cream (do not boil after this point). Sprinkle each serving with bacon, and cheese.

Silhouette Time...

My mom took Grayson to get her Silhouette done by Clay Rice. My brother and I had ours done by his father when we were younger. I love that Grayson now has her own. I put a bow on her when she went but told my mom she could take it off. Clay Rice told my mom to leave it on because it looked cute. I am SO glad he had us leave it on because it is SO Grayson! If you know Grayson, she always has her bow on... makes sense. This picture is precious! I ABSOLUTELY love it!!

For those who don't know, Clay Rice cuts these pictures by hand as he watches Grayson. My mom said it took about 10 minutes and we got 3 copies! Here is his website.
