Happy 4th of July!!

We had a busy weekend, probably like most of you on this holiday. We went to a cookout at the neighbors Friday night. Lots of fun! I baked two cakes that day to take to our two parties. Everyone loved the cake. Very yummy!! (Paula & Martha better watch their backs!)

Today we went to the second annual "Rooter to the Tooter" Party at our lake house! (sorry if you weren't invited). It was so nice to be surrounded by friends and family on such a wonderful and important holiday. God bless our troops and thank heavens for our Independence. It was a fun-filled day of eating and drinking and had lots of fun wake boarding and tubing. I wish we could all get together like this more often. I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July and be thankful to live where you do! Today will be a day to sit back and relax and pick up fireworks out of the yard! (Crazy neighbors...but at least there are no more lawn decorations- ha!)
