I Found My Hobby!

So I have really been wanting a sewing machine for awhile. Now I don't know how to sew but I figured I could learn! Today for an early birthday present the husband got me this...

It took me about two hours to get it perfect...

Then...LOOK what I made...

A cafe style apron...oh but it gets better...IT'S REVERSIBLE!

I am so proud of myself...First time ever using a sewing machine. I only cut myself twice and stuck myself once...No I am trying to think of other things to make...Any suggestions?

  4. Way to go! I just got a sewing machine too! You are a quick learner! I just made burp cloths for my friends that are expecting. Use cloth diapers and adorn with ribbons/fabric panels etc. So fun!!

  7. You would be amazed at the millions of patterns there are out there! Watch for when Hancock Fabric reduces their patterns to 99 cents...I never pay full price!
