Ok...I know that we are/were in a recession but come on. I went to get a large binder from Walmart that I could house all my essential items for school. My binder includes one copy of each thing that I have had to make a copy of this year and will need again next year. Everything is in sheet protectors and under a certain label. Anywhoo...back to the point...I about died of shock when I saw that the large binder was $15.00! Shut your face...I know...I am not even kidding either. How much could they really cost to make? I bought it though... Let me tell you if one of my kids touches that $15.00 binder, I might freak!
Are you kidding?! Wow, it's really been a long time since I've had to buy school supplies, haha!
ReplyDeleteI know! I have a "portfolio" for job interviews and I literally bought a cheapie binder because I wasn't shelling out money for something that should be dirt cheap!
ReplyDeleteThat is crazy exspensive!! Wow! I was at Staples this weekend and wanted to buy a planner big enough to write stuff in, but small enough to fit in my purse...they were like $30! I didn't get the planner! :( That is such a good idea for all those important papers you'll need...I may do that same thing!
ReplyDeleteYou have got to be joking. That is beyond ridiculous! I would have said forget it and went somewhere else. The kiddos better not touch the $15 binder ;)
ReplyDeleteGoodness!! That is CRAZY!! The most expensive that I've seen is like $9.
ReplyDeleteWeird that you post this, because I freaked out a couple of days ago in Staples when I saw how much binders cost. It is ridic!
ReplyDeleteI paid $5 for a 1 1/2 inch binder. I didn't even get the extra sturdy one either!
ReplyDelete15.00?! Seriously! I mean, that's not even a Lisa Frank binder! LOL
ReplyDeleteAnd they have us around their little finger because we need it. Right now I have things that I have collected in file folders but am eventually planning on moving towards a big binder for each subject that I am teaching with the things that I will use yearly. The money we spend on classroom stuff is insane!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, that is crazy talk! $15.00. Really? Nutty! Can you at least write it off on your taxes??
ReplyDelete15 BUCKS?!?! Are you kidding me? That seems CrAzY!! Must be lined with GOLD...lol.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's crazy! I haven't had to buy supplies in awhile.
ReplyDeletewow! its been a really long time since I have been in school!! lol I think they were like $5 or something!!
ReplyDelete"Shut your face" hahahaha... Love it!
ReplyDeleteI remember when those things were $1.88.... what on earth happened!
