Dressing Up...

I LOVE dressing up-why not, Charlotte York does it daily! I love going to fun events where you have to look your best-but, do you really have to have a reason to get dressed up and look your best? Daily, I hear this from the husband... "Are you really wearing that?" or "We are only going to the store!" I can't help it. I love to wear pretty dresses and wear fun, chunky jewelry. I love wearing make-up and feeling pretty. I might not look pretty but at least I try. I, and maybe we all do, feel are best when we are put together. The husband just doesn't understand. It's a girl thing. I know that I am not the only one. Who else would rather wear a fun, cute dress then jeans or shorts??
PS I am really getting good use of this grad school while I am blogging-huh?

  3. I am a dress girl too. My husband is always asking "where are you going all dressed up?" But if I am hanging around the house, I am the complete opposite - shorts and a tshirt.

  5. I'm about 50/50... I LOVE dressing up but sometimes jeans and a t-shirt are just too comfy to pass up!

  6. I agree whole heartedly! Even if I'm wearing a pair of jeans or shorts at least I want to have on a cute top and ALWAYS want to have hair and make up done. But, if you see me out, don't expect me to look like I walked off the cover of Vogue, McK's Uncle Freddie gets huffy on me taking any more time to get ready than he does, which is all of the time it takes to shower and throw on a t-shirt and shorts. Whee! I might as well live down on the farm. You would think he would want his wife to look nice in case we see someone he knows, instead of having them walk away and think "what a dog! She could at least have done something with her hair." Yes, my dear, I do believe it is a girl thing. Men think as long as they don't smell (too bad) they are good to go and everybody else should share their sense of quick and go hygiene. Let's face it, we live in a society of slobs, I just hope, for the most part, not to be among them.
