DIY Kitchen Stove

I had this kitchen sink in my housekeeping center at school but it was broken so I decided to repurpose it for Grayson.
Here is the before with no handles and no sink basin…

I took all the hardware off and got the hubs’ handy dandy sander out and went to working….

I spackled all the holes, let it dry, and then sanded them smooth…

I spray painted one door pink (using the door as the stove) and the rest lime green. After it dried I sanded it to look weathered…

I drilled two holes and then added these cute knobs…

I sanded the one pink door and then added two stove eyes…

I painted two hooks pink and gorilla glued them onto the sides…

I gorilla glued the stove top on…

I then made a curtain and hung it up on a tension rod.

Complete! I am in LOVE with it!! I can’t wait to see Grayson play with it.
(Did I mention it matched her bedding and her curtains?)

  7. you are sooooo creative - I would have tried to bring it back to original but you went and put your spin on it - that looks a lot better than what I would have done
