Yesterday at school was Polar Express Day for all first graders! We wore our pajamas to school, had a parade down the halls caroling to the other grades, and rang our bells. We then drank hot cocoa and ate candy canes and cookies in the cafeteria. We compared the book and the movie and had a mom come and explain the history of Hanukkah. She helped us make edible menorahs that were delicious!
(Yes, parents have given me permission to post their child's pictures on here!)
My wonderful first grade team!
It was a great way to end our week! Hope you had a fabulous week!
