We Got A New Pet! Not Really...

Our next pet would only be another lab. Not this...

When I got home today look what present I found on the doorstep. I didn't want to get too close. You've seen the "Birds" movie. Ahh... That thing might attack my head. The furbaby got right on it and it didn't attack him, but I could tell it was hurt! The good OCPD samaritan that I am put rubber gloves on and tried to pick it up. (Definitley had to wear the gloves) After two failed attempts and me looking like an idiot screaming... I got it! Umm..Now what to do with it? Uh? Of course I knew I had to take a pic for y'all. That's the most important thing-duh!! Ha! Then it got out of my hands and I just would have died if I couldn't get that thing out of my house! Grodie!! I took it to the neighbors and she found a box for it. Breast pumping box at that! Hehe! Poor bird! Well I thought about naming it but I am not a big fan of birds and don't plan on having it long. Maybe if it was a puppy... That's different!

Well it is still in the box. I tried putting water in there but that was the smallest dish I had! Sad day! It's bigger than the poor bird. I TRIED! I gave it a little bit of whole wheat hot dog bun but I don't think it's fond of whole wheat. I called the husband and told him we got a new pet and he about lost it. He told me to put it back. What is that going to do?? I'll let you know how this situation ends. Only the Cobias...

  1. When I was in 7th (or maybe 8th grade) a mama bird was dead in our yard and the two babie birds were near by. So I put them in a shoe box and took them inside (and left them in the garage) and would feed them bread and stuff. People always told me that I "ate like a bird" and since I don't eat a lot, I assumed it meant birds didnt eat a lot, so I went to school the next day and didnt think twice about feeding them or giving them water. When I got home they were...incredibly dead. I felt bad. So I no longer deal with birds.
